A little bit about us:- Our family consists of myself, Trevor,my partner, his 4 labradors, three of which are working dogs, my seven cats and some pond fish! We are fortunate to live in a lovely part of East Yorshire within part of a working farm. Our home used to be part of the farm staff accommodation, we have been here 3 years.
I have always loved all animals especially cats. I ran a small cat rescue many years ago for almost 7 years. Through family circumstances I gave this up, but still try to support cat rescue by making and selling greeting cards. (if you would like to support please mail me for details). My best friend has been breeding Norwegian Forest Cats for many years and I fell in love with this natural breed and was determined to own my own when I retired and to breed from them. Saska and Mia came home together almost 3 years ago and have been a joy, thank you to Kate at Jhardufae for letting me have these cats. Of couse I was completely smitten when I saw Popsie who is a silver and white tortie girl...so she came to stay as well.
I have four other neutered cats, Duchess, a Chinchilla Persian, who is now an old lady, next comes Shadow my moggie from the original rescue that I ran, approx 10 years old now, and then we have Foxy Lady my Siamese and Catkin a naughty Tiffanie who are 8 years old. |
