Our ever increasing family consists of myself, Ann, Trevor, my partner and his 3 labradors, all of which are still working. I have 6 cats and now Gypsy" a x terrier who joined us in February 2010, she is approx. 6/7months old., pond fish and poultry who supply us with lovely tasting eggs.
We are fortunate to live in a lovely part of East Yorshire within part of a working farm. Our home used to be part of the farm staff accommodation, we have been here almost 6 years.
I have always loved all animals especially cats and ran a small cat rescue many years ago for almost 7 years. Through family circumstances I gave this up, but still support cat rescue by making and selling greeting cards. (if you would like to support please mail me for details). My best friend has been breeding Norwegian Forest Cats for many years and I fell in love with this natural breed and was determined to own my own when I retired and to breed from them. Saska and Mia came home together almost 5 years ago and have been a joy, thank you to Kate at Jhardufae for letting me have these cats. Of couse I was completely smitten when I saw Popsie who is a silver and white tortie girl...so she came to stay as well. Popsie had her first litter in January of last year I fell in love with one of her kittens. She is now our latest additon and is called Lily.
I have two other neutered cats, Foxy Lady my Siamese and Catkin a naughty Tiffanie who are approx. 9 years old. Mia one of the Norwegians has now retired from breeding and enjoying the garden
